Pall Ring
The pall ring is made of metal sheet and has two rows of window holes with internal protruding blades on the ring wall. Each row of window holes has five tongue lobes, each tongue leaf curved to the ring, pointing to the ring center, almost overlap in the center, the position of the upper and lower window holes staggered each other, the total area of the hole is about 35% of the entire ring wall area. Compared with the same specifications of the raschig ring packing, because of pall ring packing opened many hole in the ring wall, makes the tower of gas and liquid can be free from the window by, so packing layer of gas and liquid distribution than raschig ring packings have greatly improved, its separation performance improved obviously, so the pall ring filler is still currently adopted one of the main ring packing. The products are suitable for various separation, absorption, desorption devices, atmospheric and vacuum devices, synthetic amine decarbonization, desulfurization system, ethylbenzene separation, isooctane, toluene separation and so on.
The material of metallic random packing including carbon steel and stainless steel,due to its thin wall, high void and capacity, low fluid resistance,and heat& corrosion resistance,it is very suitable for the process of the heat sensitivity,easy decomposing,easy polymerzation and easy carbonization in the vacuum rectifying towers.
