SW activated ceramic ball


SW activated ceramic ball is a new catalyst support covering material developed by our company and Dalian Compound Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is made by adding a small amount of transition metal oxide to an inert porcelain ball. It not only has the characteristics of high temperature, high pressure and high mechanical strength of inert porcelain ball, but also plays the role of filtering, dispersing vapor-liquid covering and supporting catalyst. It also has a certain catalytic activity, and plays a catalytic role in the process of olefin saturation, desulfurization and denitrification. SW active porcelain spheres were filled in the top of the catalyst bed in the hydrotreating, hydrocracking, reforming pre-hydrogenation and benzene hydrogenation reactors of distillate oil, which could lead to primary hydrogenation of olefin in the feedstock oil of secondary processing, thus reducing the catalyst coking. The mercaptan produced in some reaction processes can be removed by filling SW active porcelain spheres at the bottom of the catalyst bed. Using SW active porcelain spheres can not only effectively improve the space utilization rate of the reactor, but also protect the catalyst from poisoning and sintering to a certain extent, thus prolonging the service life of the catalyst.
